Last year I was obsessed with the CAKES Body Grippy Nip Covers. So much so I devoted an entire blog post to it here. Their Grippy Nip Covers were and are! my favorite of all time. Trust me, I’ve tried a lot. My favorite thing about the Grippy is that they don’t rip off your sensitive bits when you peel them off at the end of the day.
The sole downside was…Grippy CAKES must be worn with tight fitting tops. Most of the time that wasn’t an issue for me apparently I tend to wear tops with built in shelves or tight enough not to be an issue, but sometimes the CAKES were TOO big for lower cut tops. As though they could read our minds and had amazing market research, clearly! CAKES came out with triangles. The narrower shape of the GRIPPY triangle meant we could have our CAKES and wear them too!
I thought, I have plenty of time to update my dear readers with more details about the new triangles, but before I could get caught up, CAKES outdid themselves again!
As you smarty pants have already sussed out, CAKES went and created another product we didn’t quite realize we needed! Now they have the OG Grippy (think tight tops) in round and triangle and a NEW Sticky version. I’ll admit, I was skeptical. My first thought was – oh no, they’ve sold out and just done what every other sticky nip cover company out there does.
But no.
Stop the presses.
These innovative women SOLVED the problem with sticky nip covers. Solved it!!
Look at this! On the left is the OG Grippy in Honey and on the right is the new Sticky also in Honey. Are you seeing the magic? The center of the new Sticky is NOT sticky! Think about this. You get the advantage of sticky all around except the sensitive bits! They are still the full coverage nip cover in a three skin tones (honey, caramel, and cocoa) and three sizes (itty bitty, OG, and DDD+) – talk about inclusive!
Now you have options.
Tight fitting top? Grab your grippy in the light pink box. Looser fit? Grab you sticky in the deep maroon box. But wait, there’s more!
You also have the choice of round or triangle or as I like to say BOTH! when you grab your sticky. A little bonus that I really appreciate is that they labeled the boxes on the spine this time. I find storing them in their box allows me to easily see which is which. I had to write the shape on the OG ones. Clearly these women speak my language.

EXTRA: CAKES came out with even MORE products. They have:
- A cleavage sticky bra – I do not need those so I haven’t tried the personally but I have high hopes given CAKES track record
- A volume version for A to B cups – I can’t use them so I can’t speak to them but I’m sure there are other reviews online
- A Nip version that gives the wearer a visible nipple – this is the opposite of my issues, but I love them as an option especially for friends coming back from mastectomies.
